'We Are Not Dead Yet'

"No phone connection so there is no Internet connection. So just sending text message. There are few people on the ship, can't see a thing, it's totally dark. So there are few men and women, women are screaming."

The above text was sent by one of the two-hundred-eighty-seven people, mostly high school students, taking a field trip that was trapped inside a South Korean ferry.

One-hundred-seventy-nine people were rescued, nine thought to be deceased.

They could still be alive, according to authorities.

Bad weather conditions kept rescuers from getting to the ship's air pockets where people could be, authorities.

An attempt to pump air, oxygen, into the ferry failed.

Family and friends are frustrated, in a state of disbelief.

The ferry rolled on its side, disappeared into the water.

Many questions are being asked by authorities like: Was the ferry off-course? Did it hit something? What?

Questions for the captain continue to stack-up.
