Risk: Obamacare Web Site

There was risk in using the Obamacare Web site as of last week, according to Web site expert, Ben Simons. Simo pointed-out how a person with wrong intentions could get into users' accounts.

Look at what the software tester, Simo, discovered.

Think of any user name that was on the Web site, and the Web site would let you have access to the account. The password would've been reset.

Now, once the person with wrong intentions had a user name plus a reset code, security questions were given.

This leads a person with wrong intentions to, possibly, steal other information. This is a wake-up call to be more careful on the Internet. Although, a risk issue with the Obamacare Web site wasn't an individual's fault.

A person armed with information from the Obamacare Web site could "friend" you on a social networking Web site, for example, to gain other personal information.

The risk found by Simo was fixed, per the Health Department.

Twitter

In the world of relationships and everywhere else, people are talking more about Twitter, social networking site, since it's about to become a public company. Twitter makes money from advertising. Still, it isn't selling enough ads to make a profit.

However, Twitter's monthly users expanded to 232 million in the third quarter, according to the company.

The social networking site is used by people from every walk of life, organizations and celebrities.

You, too, can sign up for a Twitter account. pick a name, user-name, and password. Find Twitter by typing Twitter dot com into a search engine.

Some people use their name, and others prefer a name that holds meaning for them.

Add a pic, picture, to your profile. The pic is a image that you like, not necessarily a pic of yourself.

Fill in your bio. The bio information gives people an idea of who you are, and a clue to the topics you'll tweet about. Provide a link to your Web site, if you have one.

Gather-up people to follow. Tell friends/relatives about your Twitter account. The social networking site will help/suggest people to follow.

Twitter messages written by people, accounts, you follow appears in your feed/time-line. A time-line should show-case interesting tid-bits, deliver useful information and/or entertain.

You have the option to unfollow a person or an account. Click on unfollow at any time.

Communicate with a tweet by typing on reply.

Some tweets you'll like and want to share. It's done through retweeting, or RT.

Hashtags (#) are used too. Hashtags help people search for subject, and find tweets about it.

An at (@) symbol gives the person you're addressing and those following both of you opportunity to see your tweet.

A character or word is typed before the @ sign to allow the tweet to be seen.

Now, it's time to tweet. Remember, Twitter permits 40 characters per tweet.

White House Official Secretly Tweets

A senior White House official, Jofi Joseph, was fired after being exposed for secretly tweeting. Joseph had a hand in negotiating nuclear talks with Iran.

The secret tweets insulted public figures at the White House and on Capitol Hill.

Joseph held the position of nuclear non-proliferation on the White House National Security Council staff. Yet, on Twitter Joseph "exposed" his real thoughts, mean thoughts, about public figures.

Joseph sent hundreds of secret tweets, for more than two years. The Twitter account is no longer available, been removed.

Joseph secretly poked speculation about political motives/career choices of administration officials that he worked with.

Hillary Clinton, former Secretary Of State, had few policy goals and no wins in regard to the Middle East, according to Joseph's tweets.

Joseph had choice tweets for President Barack Obama's spokesman, and the list goes on.

in the world of relationships, Joseph preferred to secretly tweet instead of speaking-up. it cost him his job, but other losses will come too.

Hecklers Will Hate

Hecklers have respect for few. Hecklers usually are haters (disrespectful people who hate). There's nothing you can do to gain a heck let's respect. Hecklers take pleasure in their disrespectful behavior.

Take a deep breath, let it out slowly and think positive thoughts. Focus on what's best for you, your life.

Don't take hecklers seriously, because hecklers will hate. You'll forget your goals and yourself when trying to fit into a hecklers box. Yes, you'll be boxed in, lost.

Hecklers will push, laugh or gossip while you're unhappy. Keep positive thoughts and nurturing people around you.

Be cordial to a heckler. It's not necessary to do anything more. Why? Hecklers will hate, no,matter what.

When you're in a relationship or have to be around hecklers/haters, be cautious. They'll take any word to use against you. Be mindful of what you say. Slowly get-out of a relationship with a heckler/hater.

Limit time around a heckler/hater when you work with him/her. A heckler can't be trusted. Why?

A heckler/hater will find something/anything bad to say about you, mostly behind your back.

In conclusion, stay positive. Think positive thoughts as you hear/don't hear what hecklers/haters bark-out.

Debt Ceiling

Congress has a decision to make. The Republicans and Democrats were elected to put the United States' interests first, but they aren't by playing games with the fate of an entire nation.

The debt ceiling is fast approaching. It's a cap Congress puts on how much debt to allow. The cap, currently, is 16 trillion.

Debt comes from various places like: U. S. bonds and money due to Social Security.

The government is about to hit its cap. When the cap is reached, payments will not be paid.

It means that the government may not be able to send-out Social Security checks, and Medicare would suffer.

The United States would then borrow at higher interest rates. In that event, we, the people will pay for it. We'll see it in higher mortgage rates, for example. Yes, rates everywhere goes-up.

In times past, the government raised the debt ceiling. The shut-down stops any move toward the debt ceiling.

We could be heading into a recession.

President Obama Is Listening

Miriam Carey, 34 and single mother, was the woman responsible for the Capitol Hill lock-down.

Carey had her 18-month-old daughter in the car as she encountered authorities. She tried to ram a barricade, and not stop. She hit an officer.

Authorities searched Carey's apartment and asked questions about her. Carey thought that President Obama was listening to her through electronics, that he locked down her state.

Carey suffered from postpartum depression. Postpartum depression stops normal reasoning, voices are heard and an individual is unable to live a "normal" life.

Idella Carey, mother of Miriam Carey, confirmed that her daughter suffered from postpartum depression.

Carey acted delusional, according to her boyfriend. He, even, went to the police a out it.

Did the boyfriend contact anyone that Carey would've listened to? He do enough?

Postpartum depression, mental illness, is serious, and should be handled by a medical professional.

Still, anyone rolling a vehicle, weapon, toward Capitol Hill aggressively can't expect a positive out-come. You can be orange, green or multi-color.

The public saw that as law enforcement shot Miriam Carey dead.
