The cold weather, sub freezing temperatures, has hit many parts of the United States. Some people, states, aren't use to the "polar vortex."
Weather temperatures hasn't been this cold since 1994, according to weather reports.
The following are ways to handle the cold weather.
1. Stay warm. Dress in layers when going out-doors. Cover everything, even your face.
2. Insulate pipes.
3. Stock pile items you use frequently, to reduce trips to the store.
4. Don't allow hypothermia in. It happens when your body temperature drops below 35 degrees.
5. Spend as little time as possible outside.
6. Try not to get wet while outside.
7.If you get wet from the weather, change clothes immediately.
8. Make sure space heaters are not near anything that will start a fire, or keep the space heater four feet away from everything.
