Personal Code

Personal code is the principles, ethics, a person develops, has. It's what makes an individual live, thrive, be. It's she, he, and me.

In the world of relationships, pick a partner, person, who understands your personal code. Why? Confusion, upset, barrels from those that "don't get you."

You can explain and show, but few will understand or come-around to your personal code. The other person's personal code will prefer not to let him/her appreciate your personal code.

Problems start to pop-up. Gossip from him/her about you circulates. Confrontations creep in. Perhaps, stalker behavior arise. The need for law enforcement happens.

Although, the first signs of a person at odds with your personal code is reason to move away from him/her. Slowly, peel yourself out of his/her life. No one gets around, over or under personal code. It's what makes us unique.

"I'll meet him/her half-way." You said.

"I can change him/her." You tried to make excuses.

"Opposites attract." Someone insisted.

In the end, people with different personal codes clash, no matter how hard you try to make it work.
